For Kate Moss, planning her July 1 wedding ceremony to rocker Jamie Hince was a little more complicated than saying “I do.”
“I’ve thrown parties for other people, but this is a completely different thing,” the cover girl reveals of her pre-wedding jitters. “I’ve gone mental. Jamie thinks I’m mad, asking, ‘Are you gonna be all right? After the wedding, I’m hoping you’ll get back to normal!’”
With 16 bridesmaids and flower girls, including daughter Lila Grace, 8, and a vision in mind — “I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus,” she says — Moss dubbed the theme: “Rock and roll Great Gatsby!”
The wedding dress, a beaded and lace confection by John Galliano, also achieved the desired effect — and then some! “She dared me to be John Galliano again,” the maligned couturier gushed, adding that designing the gown for Moss was his “creative rehab.”
