Supermodel, Thailand tsunami survivor and former “Dancing With The Stars” contestant Petra Nemcova sat down with the Telegraph to talk about her charity, the Happy Hearts Fund, which helps countries rebuild after natural disasters when the first responders leave. Nemcova mentioned that in the last five years, Happy Hearts has reconstructed 51 schools and has a presence in nine countries.

She also discussed her upcoming wedding to British actor Jamie Bellman, explaining, “We met through a neutral friend, well, his best friend since he was ten, so for twenty years — and he’s now engaged to my best friend who I’ve known for seven years. And they brought us together and so it’s stayed in the family, which is wonderful.”

Deets, girl, deets! Petra added, “In terms of the wedding and the preparation, there are some things set in stone, like the date, which will be in June 2012, and the wedding will be in England, since we both love England. It will be in the countryside. The wedding dress will be designed by Marchesa. The relationship with Marchesa, for me, has been for many, many years. It’s just nice to be able to wear them even on that special day. And I can’t wait to see what they will create.”
